We do things a bit differently than other farms!

Let's start with the basics...

  • Our online store IS our CSA, we don't require an upfront payment and there's no on-going commitment
  • Ordering opens when our weekly newsletter arrives in your inbox (typically after 12pm Thursdays) to let you know what's available for the week.
  • Orders are harvested, washed and packed on Tuesdays. They can be picked up Weds-Friday between 8am and 6pm.
  • We only deliver once a week on Thursday mornings.

More about the online store experience

If you're picking up at the farm:

  • Look for the building with the Sunbow signs on it. The entrance is to your left as you face the building (East).
  • Pick-up is self-service. You'll find a bag with your name on it and a total amount paid or due.
  • Make sure to read your invoice in case we've written a note about your order.
  • Leave payment in the yellow cashbox on the counter. If you've paid online, you're good to go!

Parking

  • Please do not block the entry/exit points in the driveway
  • Go ahead and park directly in front of the market room door
  • Please try to position your vehicle to allow others to come and go around the driveway loop

If you've opted for delivery:

  • There is a $1 delivery fee. If you use the online store, it will automatically be added to your order when you choose delivery.
  • Deliveries happen on Thursday mornings between 7am and 11am
  • If we arrive at your doorstep before 8am, we will not be knocking to announce your produce arrival unless you ask us to
  • We only deliver to Philomath and Corvallis addresses
  • The minimum for delivery is $15 (we will make exceptions for smaller households of 2 people or less but you must let us know in advance of placing your order)
  • If you don't plan to be home during the delivery window, please leave a cooler out for us
  • If you didn't pay online, please leave your payment in the cooler or somewhere visible to us

Visit our Farm Stand

We run a seasonal farm stand from May through October. If you prefer to choose your items in person, and don't like crowds, this is a great option.

The farm stand is self-service. You'll find a price list and notebooks to write down what you're purchasing. This helps us keep track of sales which keeps our Organic Certifier, Organic Department of Agriculture, happy.

Please visit the farm stand page for hours and days of operation.

Philomath Farmers Market Booth

The Philomath Farmers Market runs from Memorial Day weekend through mid-October on Sundays from 11am to 3pm. Our booth is located across the Philomath Library entrance.

It's a fun option with a casual atmosphere and much smaller crowds than the Corvallis Market.

We accept cash, Sunbacks, credit cards, Apple Pay, electronic gift card codes and check, SNAP and Farm Direct Checks at all of our locations.

Shop our Newsletter

If you hate online shopping platforms, and can't shop in person, subscribing to our weekly newsletter is the way to go. You'll get weekly updates on what's available, pricing and other fun farm info.

You can reply to the newsletter with your selections for the week. Make sure to include:

  • Your name and phone number,
  • Your selections and quantities,
  • How you plan to pay
  • Whether you want to pick up or have it delivered (please include an address for delivery)

We will confirm with an order total.

More Frequently asked questions

Customer Satisfaction

We welcome your feedback! We do what we can to ensure that all customers get the best of what we have to offer when we pick and pack your food but you know, "stuff" happens and you might notice something we missed.  If that's the case, please let us know.  We'll do our best to make it right.

Do you take special requests?

We want you to be happy with our product and are willing to discuss your request with you but cannot guarantee that we can make it happen.  Sometimes the nature of the request doesn't make sense for us logistically. You never know unless you ask!

When will I get my order?

If you've met the deadline of 7am Monday, your order will be ready for pick-up at the farm Wednesday-Friday between 8am and 6pm. Delivery happens on Thursdays between 7am and 11am.

Do you sell wholesale?

We do not sell outside of the Willamette Valley but if you're local, we can provide some items at wholesale quantities and prices. Selection is based on availability and changes often. Please send an email requesting a list of what is currently available wholesale, and include information on how to become a new vendor with your organization.

What forms of payment do you take?

We accept cash, Farm Direct checks (WIC), personal checks, credit/debit cards and our farm currency, Sunbacks (both paper and electronic). We also take SNAP but you must sign up in advance for this option to arrange for monthly SNAP payments that are automatically deducted from your benefits.

What do you grow?

We grow more than 70 different vegetables and fruits. We sell March through December through the use of season extenders (hoop houses, crop covers, etc), storage rooms, and refrigeration.

Does my purchase count?

Oh yeah! Supporting small farms means...

  • Supporting our local economy, we buy local whenever we can and support other small regional businesses
  • Building community. Our customer interactions go beyond a simple exchange.
  • Supporting farm practices that are sustainable and strengthen our regional food system builds community resilience! By the time Covid hit, we had been doing home delivery for years. The chock points in the supply chain had little affect on our ability to grow food.
